Our faith-focused missions provide opportunities to experience in-depth the various Christian Communities in Cuba. Throughout the year we offer several opportunities to join mission trips where we visit ministries that we support, delivering humanitarian aid and experiencing fellowship with our Christian brothers and sisters in Cuba. These trips are a wonderful opportunity especially for travelers new to Cuba. Our staff accompanies the team, and we arrange all lodging and transportation. Itineraries include visiting church leaders, seminary professors, doctors, lay leaders, farmers, and representatives from various religious groups. Short-term mission trips usually do not exceed 10 days. The areas you can explore are: Leadership Development, Faith Development, Children/Youth Ministry, and Elderly Ministry.
Our highly experienced Guide Leaders will escort teams on exciting people-to-people educational exchange trips to destinations of your interest on the island. Our itineraries are designed to support learning about and understanding the art, history, religion, and culture of Cuba. Each participant will not only be edified by interacting with Cubans where they live, work, and play, but will also be able to deliver much-needed over-the-counter medicines and educational supplies to Cubans.
Our people-to-people license was issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s, Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC). Pursuant to section 31 C.F.R. § 515.565(b)(2) of the Cuban Asset Control Regulations, this license allows any American who books a trip with Explore International to travel to Cuba legally. Explore International handles all of the paperwork and requirements for your trip. License # CT-2013-305186-1. DMC works as an administrative liaison with Explore International.
